Everything you need to know about FIAT Hackathon.
A hackathon is a collaborative event where participants come
together to brainstorm, design, and build creative solutions
to real-world challenges — all within a focused timeframe. No
prior coding experience is required!
Anyone with a passion for serving the Church is welcome!
Whether you're a developer, designer, project manager,
pastoral worker, or simply someone with great ideas — there's
a place for you.
FIAT Hackathon will take place from
Friday evening, 9 October to
Sunday dinner, 11 October 2026. The venue
details will be shared with registered participants closer to
the date.
Inspired by Exodus 4:2 — "What is that in your hand?"
— the theme invites participants to recognise the gifts and
skills God has already placed in their hands and to use them
boldly for His mission.
Not at all! Hackathons thrive on diverse perspectives. We need
thinkers, communicators, and domain experts just as much as
coders. Teams are formed with a healthy mix of skills.
